Msida Valley is the last remaining piece of arable land left between the capital of Malta, Valletta, and one of the biggest towns of the Island, Birkirkara.

Nearly 28% of the Maltese land is covered by artificial surfaces, while the EU average is 4% (Eurostat, 2018).
